Ken is the spirit of a man caught up in the beautiful and chaotic 1960's day night endurance racing that eventually claimed his life. At Playforever we wanted to pay homage to the mountain of courage and heart, Ken Miles.
My kid drags this little racer everywhere and it's held up way better than the plastic cars we've bought before. The wheels roll smooth on hardwood and it's got a nice weight to it, feels like something that'll actually last.
The vintage racing look on this thing is spot on, right down to the little details that make it feel like a 1960s endurance car. My son races it across the kitchen floor for hours, and honestly I've caught myself rolling it too.
My kid has been pushing this thing around the living room for a week straight and it's still holding up great. The vintage racing details are a nice touch that he actually notices. For a toy inspired by such a heavy story, it's surprisingly cheerful.
