Zo begon het tijdperk van onwerkelijke conceptauto's uit de jaren ’70, die in wezen wiggen op wielen waren, vol hoeken en randen met daartussen gespannen skins. Zo rollen wij.
Those wedge angles and stretched skin panels really nail that 70's concept car look, way cooler than the boxy toys my kid usually gets. It's held up fine through a few weeks of hard play, no cracks or loose edges yet.
The stretched skin between those sharp angles is what sold me — it looks exactly like the 70s concept cars I used to drool over in old magazines. My kid plays with it and I keep it on my desk, so it's earning its spot.
I wasn't around for the 70s but this thing nails that whole wedges-on-wheels look, all hard angles with the skin pulled tight between them. Rolled it around the driveway and it feels sturdy enough to survive my kid actually playing with it.
